Custom software
Web applications, portals, dashboards, internal platforms, APIs, and digital services designed around a specific operation.
Tanuki Labs designs and builds custom software, AI agents, automation systems, and original digital products. We work with founders, operators, startups, and organizations that need technology shaped around a real workflow, a clear product opportunity, or an ambitious idea that generic software cannot express.
Our point of view
The Tanuki Labs vision is to democratise AI by making capable software more accessible, convenient, and understandable. Advanced systems should not be reserved for large companies with oversized teams and infrastructure. A small organization, an independent builder, or a new-era worker should also be able to use automation and intelligent tools without surrendering visibility or control.
That belief shapes our engineering choices. We favour clear interfaces, bounded automation, human oversight, maintainable architecture, and evidence that a system is doing useful work. AI is one tool within the product, not a substitute for understanding the people, decisions, and constraints around it.
How we build
A Tanuki Labs engagement can begin with consulting, workflow discovery, product strategy, or a focused prototype. We map the problem, define the smallest useful release, make the important architecture and interface decisions, and then build toward a production deployment. Testing, observability, accessibility, and iteration are part of delivery, not a cleanup phase.
Plans are created around each project's scope, urgency, integrations, availability, and expected impact. We also consider selected pro bono, sustainability, and mission-aligned work when the idea can create meaningful public value and deserves more visibility.
